Accreditations & Recognitions
ICT takes pride in being recognized and accredited by some of the most respected authorities in skill development and technical education in India such as the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), LBS Centre for Science and Technology, and Keltron (Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation) and Kerala State Rutronix. Being accredited shows our commitment towards providing training in accordance with industries and government norms that meet the criteria of national quality standards and help students find jobs.
When choosing a training partner, one should also consider the accreditation obtained by that institution because it ensures that the content of the curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, and the quality of assessment meet the required criteria.
NSDC Accreditation
An affiliate of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), ICT is a public-private partnership initiated by India’s Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The significance of NSDC affiliation means that our courses comply with the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs (QPs) and that we meet nationally established skill and competency standards.
This means for you:
- Our training conforms to the industry-defined standards for skills development
- Certificates awarded by us are accepted in the formal skill ecosystem in India
- Your employability will improve as a result of guaranteed learning outcomes.
LBS Centre for Science and Technology Recognition
ICT is recognized by LBS Centre for Science and Technology, which is a self-governing body that handles technical and professional education in Kerala. With such recognition, ICT can ensure the government establishes its standards for courses, faculty and infrastructure.
Advantages for you:
- Courses are being approved based on Kerala guidelines
- Additional credibility in case of students interested in certified programs
- Certain standards have been achieved when it comes to the education and training process.
Keltron Accreditation
ICT received endorsement from Keltron (Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd.), a Government of Kerala enterprise and one of the first public sector organisations in the state engaged in electronics, IT and technical education. ICT offers its training through Keltron’s Knowledge Services Group, wherein the training modules meet the curriculum and quality standards set by Keltron and reviewed periodically.
Implications for you:
- Know-how training based on Keltron’s years of experience in technical education
- Qualification from Kerala Government’s Public Sector Organization
- Opportunities to attend up-to-date courses.
Kerala State Rutronix Accreditation
ICT has also been given accreditation by the Kerala State Rutronix, a government organization of the state of Kerala which is involved in technical training and skill advancement. This recognition enhances ICT’s image as a well-known multi-reputed training institute that follows the state-regulated standards of quality and that of the curriculum.
What does this mean for you:
- You get one extra layer of assurance of the valid quality provided by a government body.
- The certificate is also recognized more widely with respect to the skills developing mechanism of the state of Kerala.
Why Accreditation Matters When Choosing a Training Institute
Selecting an accredited institution is an important aspect since it plays a crucial role in determining the significance of your certification and the outcome of your career:
- Credentialed accreditation
Certified programs are well-known among employers, government entities, and academic institutions alike.
- Assured educational system
Every program is evaluated according to set benchmarks instead of being independently developed in isolation.
- Enhanced chances of employment
Employers deliberately recruit prospects educated at institutes accredited by NSDC, LBS, Keltron, or Rutronics.
- Reliability and openness
Accreditation guarantees the verification of our statements by an independent body.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is ICT an acknowledged institute according to government standards?
Yes. ICT has the accreditation and recognition of the NSDC, the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Keltron, and Kerala State Rutronix, which are associated with the government and are involved in the process of maintaining the acceptable standards in skill and technical education.
Will my degree be accepted throughout India?
Only courses that are aligned with NSDC standards will be accepted on the national level. However, our accreditations from LBS, Keltron, and Rutronix are held with respect within the framework of education and employment in the state of Kerala.
Is accreditation of the institution important from employment perspective?
Yes. Employers prefer to hire candidates trained through accredited institutions for their programs, which is why it is important for ICT to have accreditation from several government institutions rather than from only one of them.
What distinguishes NSDC from LBS, Keltron, and Kerala State Rutronix?
Each accreditation comes from a different organization with specific coverage. NSDC is a national organization developing trainings as per Skill India standards; LBS is a state-run institution ensuring the quality of levels and programs; Keltron is a Kerala state PSU with its own curriculum and certification system, while Kerala State Rutronix is a state government agency involved in technical skill training. The fact that ICT holds all of the four means that the programs are verified by both state and national authorities.
Will I have to pay additional fees for an accredited certificate?
Accreditation is part of the course. Therefore, the certificate you will get after finishing your program will be already accredited when issued and you won’t have to pay anything for that.
How can I check if ICT is accredited also?
You may find the information about accreditation on the official sites of NSDC, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Keltron, and Kerala State Rutronix or you may contact us and we will send you all the necessary certificates and accreditation numbers.
Is every ICT course accredited or not?
Accreditation is course-dependent. Each accrediting agency has its standards. You can find specific details regarding the program you are interested in on the relevant course page or by contacting the admission office.
Does NSDC accreditation apply to Government jobs?
Yes, certifications offered through NSDC are considered valid for the purpose of government jobs and are accepted by the Government of India as documentation of skill development. However, it is better to check the specific requirements for that job.
What if an institute is not accredited?
In the case of an unaccredited institute, employers find it difficult to recognize the certificate because it has no recognition for quality of teaching, qualification of faculties, or the assessment given.
Is it possible to acquire a second copy of my certificate if I misplace it?
Absolutely! ICT keeps records of all issued certifications. Simply let us know your enrollment details, and we will help you with your request about an accredited certificate replacement.
Does a Keltron accreditation entail that Keltron was responsible for the creation of the course?
Not really. The reason for getting accreditation is that the course curriculum, assessment procedures, and instructional standards were reviewed and met Keltron’s requirements using their Knowledge Services Group guideline. The accreditation does not depend on the instruction provider.
Do online/hybrid courses have the same accreditation?
It all depends on the course. Some accreditation institutions claim that online/hybrid courses adhere to the same standards as classroom courses, while others have their own criteria. If you want to know how a required course is accredited, feel free to contact us.
How regularly are these accreditations validated or renewed?
Accreditation organizations usually do periodic checks of the quality of the education, including any curriculum changes, staff requirements, or infrastructure updates, to establish that these institutions comply with the standards. ICT has to undergo these regular checks to maintain valid accreditation from all four organizations.
Will my certificate state the names of all four accreditation agencies or just one
The answer to this question depends on your course. Some courses will state only one institution in relation to the particular course, while others will mention all four. You can find out the answer from your program coordinator once you choose your course.
Is job placement guaranteed once the training is completed?
Accreditation assures us that the courses correspond to quality standards and the required curriculum, but it does not imply that a person will get a job. Nevertheless thing considered accredited is regarded as a huge benefit for the CV and may be of great support in securing a job.
